About
This is me. My name is Daniela and I was born at the beginning of the 80s somewhere in Germany. I live in a small apartment in a rather cool town. 2006 I obtained a Bachelors Degree in translation, and, apart from German, I speak English and Spanish. Around 2003, I discovered my love for all things that involve the internet, webdesign and started creating my own place on the web. It was not long until I learned about WordPress, CSS and decided to start this personal blog. When I am not working, dealing with markup or trying to get to the basics of Computer Science, I read books, enjoy movies and listen to Music.

About this blog
I registered this domain (which is the first one I ever owned) on 27 June 2005. The domain name is inspired by a place on Gran Canaria Island. When I saw one of those yellow busses go by, I saw the name “Islaperdida” on the front side and decided to register it as my domain. Back then, I was a newbie to all things about webdesigning and started creating sites and learning more. In the beginning of 2006, I heard about WordPress, moved the domain to another host for PHP and MySQL, installed WordPress 2.0 and started blogging.
