Blogger was what I actually started blogging with…

If you set aside that Haloscan commenting system I used on my not-so-nice iframe beginner website back then. It was in the beginnings/the middle of 2005, when I actually heard about blogging and blogging software, blogging services and all that. I registered at blogger.com, which now is accessible via my google account and made myself a blog. And when I was that there actually were some layouts to choose from (and some were made by Dave Shea, owner of CSS Zengarden) I immediately decided I was going to try out how to make such a layout myself. Bravely reasing all the CSS and starting off with a blank document, a minute later I had created what I referred to as being “the ugliest blog layout ever created”. And it was true. But this was the starting point and from there I got to know about other blogging services, about WordPress and started to read about template tags, Kubrik, CSS and many more.

It was (and still is) a world that offers new things everyday. The Blogger-blog lasted approximately half a year, until it was time to mess around with an installation of WordPress on a free web hosting server, because the one that islaperdida.net was originally registered with did not offer PHP not MySQL ;-)
