Those are the days…
07
I am sure you know those day when all that seems good is the thought of crawling into bed, pull the blanket over your head and forget the world outside. In most of these situations, you cannot do that, because there is work, school and other duties that will not give you a rest.
Nowadays, I find myelf in somewhat stressfull situations, sometimes when experiencing frustration at work, I feel like crying. Or eating chocolate. Or both.
Nevertheless, I realized that sometimes there must be a fairy sometimes that saves me and puts the smile back on my face again. And it’s the small things. It is about walking the street you walk everyday and see something new, to feel the sun on your face or the aroma of fresh coffee in the air. It can be a letter or an e-mail, too. An e-mail telling you a story of yours will be published, or a letter of acceptance for university, too.
Similar things happened to me, and show me how I should not completely let my head hang loose 2 centimeters from the ground.
Do you have had a situation in your life when you felt sad until something cheered up your day?

I’ve learned, from experience, that sad things only make us sad if we dwell on them too much.
I’ve had lots of sad days and I’m sure a lot more awaits me in the future as I start work proper. Its made me realise the power of music. Putting on my fav track can calm me down and cheer me up faster than anything else. I can put on a chill out relaxing track or an uptempo dance beat.
