Firefox 3

Just downloaded the new Firefox version 3 and so far everything looks fine. Unfortunately, some of the add ons I had installed are not yet compatible with this version of the browser. First thing I noticed is the new style of the RSS subscription icons and the “most visited sites” tab on the left. When attempting to enter a certain site, the new intelligent address bar performs a search not only through the recent sites visited, but also through the bookmarks. From the adress bar you can also send a site directly to the bookmarks, by clicking on the little star on the right.

As there are plenty of screencasts/videos out there, I watched some of them over the weekend before seeing Firefox 3 in action. Me, I like the new setup of the RSS subscription part. The new address bar confuses me a little, but I am sure I’ll get used to it soon…

How do you like the new Firefox?

I haven’t updated my Firefox yet. I hear that Firefox 3 is a little slow. Is it true? I think I’ll update when they release a new patch. )
