Is there a perfect time to blog?

When do you usually blog? Is there a fixed time? Do you plan the topics of your posts beforehand and publish them in a predetermined order?

Some days ago, when thinking about blogging and the frequency of posts, I wondered how many of the frequent bloggers organize themselves, or if they even do so…

For me, blogging starts with an idea, or an event, something that strikes me in some way. This is when I usually think: How could I tell this to others? This question is already very near to thinking about how to blog the idea or the topic. This process can develop (at least for me) at any time of the day. Sometimes I write a post in the morning, save it as a draft, and complete it in the evening or at night, just as I feel like doing. The possibility to save posts as drafts and to continue editing later does make blogging and publishing your content very comfortable. You can rethink the post and continue the next day or night…

When do you usually blog? Is there a perfect time for it?

I don’t necessarily have a certain time. When the light bulb shines bright, I know it’s time to open Wordpress and write my heart out. lol. To put the matter simple, I blog, when I feel motivated, and have something worth posting.

I used to blog everyday last time, until school got the better of me. Now I only blog when I have the mood or time, and return comments the same way too. (Thus he obvious decline in post count as compared to the ones in 2007)

I blog whenever I have time/feel like it,and when I feel the need to share certain things or events…or let some feelings out that I can’t tell anyone else…

I guess recently I havent been blogging as much as I used to- because of school/work commitments.

I actually carry a jotter pad and jot down ideas and paragraphs from news/conversations/what happens in my day. I don’t really have a specific time just when the mood takes me.

I blog best late at night (just as I write essays best late at night). I’m a lot more alert so I make a less grammatical and spelling errors. I am also usually more in touch with my emotions at night, so my writing s seem to have that extra punch as a result.

I don’t usually use drafts. For me, if I can’t get out in one sitting, the entry will likely never see the light of day. Hahaha. I do have a blog entry idea page, organized under categories. When I run out of ideas, I just go there and pull a topic out.

As for blogging frequency, I’d like to write one entry every 2-3 days. But given my offline life right now, it’s not going to be possible until I settle down a little. )
