It`s a thief

I could not believe my eyes when I saw it. Indeed, I had already heard of content thieves in the blogosphere, with unknown anonymous individuals harvest blog feeds to make money with content that was written by others. Now I discovered the link to this blog on my WordPress dashbord, and it lead me to a generic blog, calling itself “Do it yourself at home”…Made me laugh out loud: DO it YOURSELF!!! The only thing this retarded individual did himself was putting up that blog and filling it with stolen content. All this is crowned by the fact that the stolen content is posted in a context that totally differs from the quoted entries. My entry about interesting search queries on Google was embedded into an entry that claims to be about “How to make chocolate”. This is too much…

I’m sorry to hear that this happened to you but definitely can relate. These sites, for the most part, are easy to shut down. If you want, you can email me the URL of the site involved and I’ll have a look at it and see what your options might be. It will only take a few moments.

I’m happy to help any way I can but please do not post the URLs here, no love for the spammers.

That has happened to my site so many times - especially my political posts. My only worry is that they will affect my search engine rankings but usually google and wordpress catches them well before they do. So it’s all good.

I actually hate it more when someone steals my layout ideas rather than my content. Something can be done about stolen content but not always for layout ideas since they may have slightly changed it.

    Such immoral ********. (self-censored hahaha!)
