Thank you Google

I think it is so exciting to have a look at my visitor stats and see how people actually get to my blog. One possibility that is used often is Google search. And the diversity of search terms just made my day. Have a look at some of them:

  • the flu, poem
  • chocolate chess set
  • being ambitious
  • aerobic lesson free

These are some of them, and some of my readers might also remember the posts relating to it. These terms make me think about how the readership following these searches perceive my posts and whether they found what they came for. It might be obvious even from the search result in Google that Islaperdida.net is not an aerobic studio and therefore does not offer any courses for fitness. Nor is this site producing any chocolate or chess sets. This all might be clear from the list of search results. Are my readers content with what they found here?

By the way, as I noticed I totally dislike this layout (because I feel the urgent need for improvement) I will start working on a shiny new one). I just cannot keep my hands off -)

Haha, I don’t have a site tracker, so I have no idea how people get to my blog. That might be interesting to find out, though, like you said!

Ahahahs. Google searches are hilarious. My searches are just as random. I’m sure my most of the people who clicked my blog through Google, would be so lost as to why they’re even on my page!

Hehe I so know what you’re talking about!
The few visitors I get come to my site over the weirdest searches and I guess they are kinda disappointed to only find a weird blog sometimes :P
I can’t wait to see the new layout, even though I also like this one very much…but I really understand that it can get on your nerves after sitting here for several months xD

You just reminded me that I need to check my stats page.

And some people Google the strangest things. But if they end up on your site it just means one extra hit for you! )
