Where I live it's normal for Christmas to have an "early onset" (most people have embraced the tradition of putting up trees on Thanksgiving or the day after!), but this year it was just ridiculous. I saw trees and houses lit up as early as September..! I guess Christmas is more rushed now. It's a lot easier to think Christmas is a warm and fuzzy holiday when you're lacking in responsibility. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Besides, you'll eventually find a peaceful moment.
