Back with a new layout

No time for blogging during the last weeks. I am happy now having finished a new layout for Islaperdida.net. My goal was to create a layout which somehow fits the domain and the thoughts behind it. So I took a photo captured over two years ago, showing the display at the bs station is Santa Catalina Park. Now this photo is showcased in the layout, witnessing the wonderful times I had back then.

The layout is based on the Sandbox theme, which I enjoy a lot working with since the Sandbox Designs Competition. I had to tweak the core files a little this time, but only a little, since the Sandbox is so easily changeable using CSS only. Curious me also had some look into the functions.php file, which I barely understood.

The rest of this sunday I will spend reading a new book about design.

    i love the colors used in this layout.. I love blue so I’m biased.. D
