Isn`t this beautiful?

Orchid 1
Today when arriving at home I found that my orchid got to bloom again. After a period of sleep of about two months, new branches appeared out of the old ones and even out of the earth. Soon the first buds appeared. I was so happy then because I has waited anxiously for the flowers beauty to reappear. And today, the first bud opened. You see it on the photo. A nice day to you all!

    Awww, wonderful! I want to have an orchid in my room too, but knowing me I’d kill! I killed a plant in a week with watering and keeping it in optimum conditions. Go figure. Guess I just don’t have green thumbs.

    So beautiful. I love flowers. Today I (don’t know the word but..) put seeds on the ground (pea & carrot). Hopefully they’ll grow up to be nice & sweet.

    @ Lil: For Orchids you do not need a green thumb actually, they are easy to keep and do not require many skills ( have none either cool )

    That is very beautiful! I’m glad you get to enjoy it’s flowers again! I don’t do well with plants. My Christmas Cactus was pretty much dead but I think I have managed to revive it…unfortunately the bonzai I got last year didn’t make it…

    Wow, they’re so pretty. It’s really hard for Orchids to grow here. Not the right climate or something like that. This guy I know has a room set up specially to grow them.

    I have orchids in my home too! :P But they were purchased from the nursery and not self-grown. It’s a lovely feeling to actually be able to cultivate your own plant and watch it bloom, though! I’d ought to try it sometime. (:
