No train no money

The german train company is very eager in designing new stickers and posters to remind the pasengers of their obligation to pay for a ticket. This evening I discovered a sticker on a door window saying: No ticket, 40 Euros.
Funny thing about it is that someone very witty wrote on the sticker: Delay of train: 50 Euros. Broken trains: 20 Euros.
So if that someone is obviously complaining about broken trains, then why does he write on train doors using non-soluble pens? If I were to be paid everytime a train is late, I would have gained a lot of money. A whole lot of money.

arg! I know what you mean! It’s the same with buses for me =] I’d be rich if I were given a pound for everytime my bus was late!

Haha. I wish i had any trains near me! i have to get the bus EVERYWHERE. and i just heard that the bus stop nearest my house (still takes over 5 minutes to get to!) is gonna be closed or 22 weeks! looks like i’m gonna be getting up earlier for college in the mornings! argh.

You just gotta love random graffiti on public transport! LOL. A classic on Sydney trains is: Rave near the guards compartment naked with a blue light. The official phrase is: “Travel near the guards compartment marked with a blue light.” D

True ~ I hate people who bitch about trains AND cause damage too. I think it’s kinda said to write stuff on trains or posters - but the person who wrote it has a point :P

yeah, we’re getting the ‘pay for your ticket’ campaign in melbourne as well. but the cost of the service vs. the price, I can understand why people don’t. late trains and buses, dirty and old. i’m lucky because i live in an area that gets newer ones, but sometimes we get the old ones, and they smell. really bad. graffiti is pointless. it means money has to be spent on cleaning, when instead it could be spent on things like improving the whole public transport system

PPsshhhh. I can just barely read a map on the sky trains– I don’t ride trains a lot… and there’s no solid time when the train arrives every time…. You have trains where you live? =P
