Weekend has passed by and here we are on monday again, the day which is not loved by everybody. Many people tell me that on monday at work everything goes wrong. PCs break down, documents get lost and people in a bad mood call you just to make you listen to their frustration. I never happened to experience a bad monday, as my love and hate days change from now to then. When I was younger I hated friday, do not ask me why. Then I hated sunday, and I still do a little, although on sundays I can do stuff I do not do usually during the week, such as creating new layouts, watching DVDs, talking to somebody on the phone and abusing the lower phone costs and such things.

My new favourite online activity apart from blogging is downloading pocasts and listening to them on my laptop or Ipod. I like the choice of audiofiles providing news and stories from different topics provided freely. People may rant about the internet beeing a place where too much rubbish is spread, but there are still so many nice items you can get for free, such as those podcasts. Yesterday I listened to a podcast which originally was a diploma thesis about podcasting itself, providing many interesting details and facts about how society is changing regarding their audio consuming habits. People tend to listen more to files which topics they chose freely instead of listening to a radio which is playing music they do not like. Furtermore, the programmes are broadcasted at a certain time, and not everybody can, according to that writer of the thesis, afford to be at a certain time near a radio and listening to a programme. Next point mentioned was the self-presenting that podasts provides the people with. Everybody with the sufficient equipment can spread audio files on the web, telling about their daily life, although many of those podcasts are not relevant for the wide masses.

Nevertheless, I like the idea of sharing content on the web with others in such a way.

    I’ve never really been especially fond of Fridays, either.

    Haven’t ever listened to a podcast before but it definitely sounds interesting. )

    I listen to the radio much more often. It’s just more convenient for me. Besides, the stations I listen to rock, so yeah. :P

    Yep, there definitely is a lot of crap on the internet but there is also a lot of good. Just like in real life.

    Hmm it wasn’t until last year that I started having bad Mondays, but not every Monday was terrible. Only the Mondays that I forget to do my work the night before shock

    As far as podcasts, well, I’m behind on the game as I currently don’t own an iPod. I’ve been wanting one, though. Yes, it’s definitely a lot more convenient than listening to a radio because not everyone has the luxury of time when a certain broadcast is on. It’s all about convenience that makes podcasting ideal =)

    I’ve always like Friday. There would be something to wath on tv most of the time.

    I’ve never been a fan of Monday’s myself, just because the weekend is over and it means the week has to start all over again haha. Now I dont fancy Saturdays because I have to wake up early for work lol. I’ve never downloaded a podcasts, mainly because I have dial up (at least for the next few days) and it’s take way too long to download one.

    I agree actually, the radio sometimes is just not convenient, some stations are good- but then play an artist I hate, and then of course there are the commercials that ALWAYS come on, or the annoying radio personalities

    I’m not really a fan of Tuesdays or Thursdays, but Mondays were always alright to me. I love any day of the weekend :yes:.

    I’ve never listened to Podcasts, though I hear they are quite popular. Sometimes I hate the radio, and would probably rather listen the the podcasts as you described them.
